Walk and talk therapy (outdoor therapy)

Get out of the office, out of the therapy room! Enjoy the beauty of nature, breathe in the fresh air. Walking can help stimulate thoughts and ideas and it connects your body and mind.  Wow a counselling session outside!

The movement of the body can help to move energy/emotion. We walk rhymically  in the side-by side position and that can take the pressure off face-on talking and being in a confined space. There are many visual distractions outside which can help make it easier to deal with difficult emotions. Walking helps increase the blood flow to the brain, therefore helping solutions and clarity.

There is some beautiful heathland in Poole which is perfect for walking otherwise we have the beach. Location can be discussed.
